So, I’ve resolved to do the following.

Im going to put enough time into ChaCha to make 20 dollars a day. That’s maybe two to three hours, as long as the queries are coming in. I’m going to let that build up until Thanksgiving or shortly after.

Let’s see, how many days is that…

Today is July 20th. Thanksgiving is November 27th this year. That’s 130 days.

20*130=2600 dollars.

The Kidlets are going to have a NICE Christmas this year. LOL. Imagine what 20 dollars a day for the whole year would be!

Something I’m finding out as I put in time here and there at ChaCha as a Mobile Answers Guide, is that the questions come faster at night. I worked an hour and a half last night and made 10 bucks.

If I could sit down at this thing for hours at a time, I could really make some money at this point.

Many of you know I make a little money on the side by being a Mobile Answers Guide for ChaCha. Many of you also know that I’m trying to create a team of ChaCha Guides. For whatever reason, I get resistance on this. Actually, the why is pretty easy to understand: After an age of “Make Money NOW” stuff on the internet, it’s pretty unbelievable.

After busting out first in poker last night, I decided to spend my Sunday doing something I’m a little better at.

Poker last night was wierd. First, I had gone to four beers. Poor Nula was worried for me, to the point where she said, “Don’t have any more, ok?” I promised I wouldn’t, and had Faux run up to the 7-11 and get me a Monster so I could sober up. I ended up going to bed before the end of the game. It was 3 hours or so before the first person busted out, and that ended up being me. You poker players out there will know the strangeness of having a GREAT hand, but not the nuts. Your opponent, has hand just slightly better than yours. That was my night last night.

So, now, I’m back to tagging posts at LOC. There are damn near 1500 posts on the blog now. Faux and I had a discussion about the syndicated posts diluting the home grown content. He’s right, of course. I’ve dialed back the syndicator to every 6 hours. That way, LOC podcasts, and blog posts wont get lost in the feed. It’s a balance I want to try to keep, because I am really all for turning the site into a place where you can get info, opinion, satire, and interaction.

I need–hell, I will BLEED–for users. Contributors. Bloggers. Reporters. Satirists. Podcasters. Hell, I’ll bleed for someone to get in here and help me finish tagging this stuff!

Anyway, I put in an hour at ChaCha, and made 6.60 in an hour. That’s pretty good! I’ll hit anouth hour or two a little later. See if I can get to 20 or thirty dollars today. I ended the weekend with $100.12, and 456 texts. So, I’m refining the ChaChathon. Figures, right?
I’m going to see how much I can do for the remainder of the month, and cash in at the end of the month. However, 50 dollars isn’t anything to sneeze at! I’m perfectly happy with that.

Back to normality for the week, and I’ll ChaCha in the evenings after work.

Complete fatigue finally set in about 2am, and I stopped at 356 texts, $80.12. There are, as it happens, chores to do. So, I’m taking care of those, and then I will be back in the ChaCha. Still going for my goal of at least 1000 texts. I will at least try to get to 500 before the end of tonight. I’ll check in later.

Ok, as of Midnight, here are the totals.

I’m now at 332 texts as of midnight. Total as of midnight is $75.32

I’m a little punchy, but that’s because I’ve been up since 6am. Gonna take a small break and get myself recharged. I’ll update again at 3am.

Ok, after an hour, I’m at 276 texts, up from my starting place of 238. That’s 38 texts in an hour. That’s $7.60. Brings my total to $64.12.

It is 8:30pm, and I’m now starting the ChaChathon. I’ve taken care of everything else that needs to be done…so let’s go!

As I mentioned earlier, my intention is to see how many I can do in the weekend, with a lower goal of 1000, and an upside goal of 1500.

As of this moment, I start with 238 texts already done prior to today.
