It’s official - NVIDIA has extremely poor closed source drivers that do not work properly on Linux systems. The KDE 4 issue is a widely known problem amongst Linux users. Bagram Officer: I’m a lying schmuck, and I got caught.

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Officer: Part of anti-Obama e-mail was wrong - Army News, opinions, editorials, news from Iraq, photos, reports - Army Times

You know what happened here?  Dumbass here thought he’d start something.  “Obama’s over here, and he doesn’t support the troops.  He’d rather have photo ops.  He’s not paying attention to us.  He’s an asshole.  Don’t vote for him, tell everyone you know how he treated us over here. MAKE SURE YOU TELL EVERYONE, K?”

Captain, did you send that on your army.mil account? Did you send that using Army resources?  Or, do you have someone in your family that doesn’t like you very much?

Are you naturally six bags of dipshit, or did it take years to get to that level of fuckery?

Captain, much respect for being over there for us, but you’re a lying sack of monkey crap.  If that’s the kind of judgment you display daily in your personal life, I shudder to think what your judgment capacity is in your current working environment.  You need to be sent home from Iraq, and discharged for Being Really Stupid.

New York Times: Step 1, Aim At Foot. Step 2….OW!

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

The New York Times refused to run an op-ed piece by John McCain in rebuttal to Obama’s earlier piece.

It would seem to me that fairness dictates that McCain’s op-ed be printed. However, what constitutes “equal-time”? in this case? Doesn’t Drudge have more readers than the NYT?

I think there would have been less people interested in McCain’s piece if they had just run the story.
