BT to shed 10,000 jobs by March

Telecoms group BT says it expects to have cut 10,000 jobs by March, which will mainly affect agency and contract workers.

22,000 Calif. state workers may face layoffs

Starbucks to cut 1,000 non-store jobs

Starbucks Corp., which already plans to shut 600 stores, said Tuesday it is also cutting almost 1,000 office jobs as part of its bid to re-energize the brand and boost its profit.
